Glenn is bringing his excitement, his drums and his insight to you in this hands-on introduction to the art of going beyond the drum circle. For all skill levels. Group participation is encouraged.

Glenn McCulloch is a teacher of what he calls “The Song of the Bonfire”, which are techniques and inspirations for American drumming circles. He conducts on-going classes each week in Pewaukee Wisconsin, and other periodic workshops.
 As a drummer, Glenn strives to create a spontaneous experience, something discovered in the moment, something unexpected. To make a song that comes from all those present together with the energies that surround us.
His introduction to drumming was in 1992, deep in the forests of S.W. Wisconsin. This first experience immediately spun into a self-taught 4 year apprenticeship in drum repair and construction. Today, and for the past 13 years, he makes unique jembe drums from scratch, and designs useful tools and techniques for drum makers.
