The Edge Life Expo (www.edgelife.net) is this country’s largest holistic event which draws more than 10,000 people every year. “The expo explores life as it exists in harmony with all of creation, living in balance, the internal, the external, with loving care for the planet and each other,” explains expo founder Gary Beckman, who produces the event in partnership with his Edge Life magazine.

This year’s Edge Life Expo, to be held November 8-9 at the Minneapolis Convention Center, will have something for everyone, from mainstream massage therapy, chiropractic medicine and acupuncture, to palm reading, psychic readings and spiritual life coaches. Product and gift ideas will include natural herbs and cosmetics, metaphysical paintings that show your soul, vacation ideas, and more. Magers & Quinn Booksellers will host this year’s on-site book store, where they will display books on various related topics, including books written by many of the authors who will be present during the expo for book signings.

There will also be 59 free workshops conducted by local celebrities and internationally-known speakers. Additional special guest appearances will include:

• Isha: This world-renowned spiritual teacher will explain her revolutionary new system for letting go of the questions, controls and opinions of the intellect so you can expand love-consciousness and find true happiness, fulfillment and peace.

• Kathryn Harwig: Kathryn is an internationally-renowned psychic and medium. Over the last five years, thousands of people have become enchanted by the information channeled from her guides, The Light Collective. The Light Collective has requested that they be allowed to speak at this expo for the purpose of giving information they believe will aid us all in the coming year.

• Dr. Norm Shealy: Neurosurgeon Dr. Shealy was instrumental in creating The American Holistic Medical Association which continues to emphasize the spiritual component of healing. Come discover why we all desperately need a Health Renaissance.

• Sage Lewis: Join this dynamic teacher, healer and author for a fun and informative lecture designed to help you connect more deeply with your pets, living or dead. What if you can learn to help them shift undesirable behaviors and bond more deeply with you? Sage Lewis will demonstrate some hands-on techniques and simple tools for you to try at home. Bring photos of your pets along with your questions.

“People love the variety of The Edge Life Expo,” says Beckman. “Every human being searches for a more harmonious and passionate life. Here, they can find the tools under one roof. On Sunday, we will begin the expo with an inter-denominational spiritual service. Attendees of that service will receive free admission to the expo.” Ticket prices for the speakers and workshops range from free to $29 each.

Admission is $9 per day or two for $10 (so bring a friend!). For additional individual savings, you can enjoy both days of the event for $15, or purchase a $125 Gold Card that will give you access to the expo and all workshops. Show hours are Saturday 10 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a Post-Expo seminar with Sunny Dawn Johnston on Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
